There are “strong” indications that the Los Angeles Lakers are trending toward a new two-year deal with free agent point guard D’Angelo Russell, reports Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports.
According to Fischer, that two-year contract could be worth in the neighborhood of $40 million in total, though the second season may be a team option or non-guaranteed.
