As the never-ending John Collins trade saga was finally completed on Monday by the Atlanta Hawks, Trae Young didn’t forget to hand his own tribute to the high-flying forward.
Young honored Collins via a Twitter post and uploaded some of their touching images of partnership together. He also penned a caption that reads: “To many crazyyy memories together! Brothers for Life”
Young and Collins shared the court as two of Atlanta’s main core pieces in the last five years, enchanting Hawks fans with their frequent alley-oop connections. They helped the club to reach three postseason arenas including a trip to the Conference Finals back in the 2020-21 campaign.
Collins was dealt by the Hawks to the Utah Jazz for Rudy Gay and a future second-round pick.
