It might be difficult for the Bucks to retain Brook Lopez this offseason. The 35-year-old center became an unrestricted free agent this summer and is expected to receive serious offer from the Rockets.
“The Bucks are also facing Brook Lopez’s free agency,” NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski said. “There’s an expectation that the Houston Rockets, flushed with a lot of salary cap space, are going to be a real threat for Lopez. And this is a Bucks team that continues to be in a win-now mode around Giannis.”
This past season Lopez averaged 15.9 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 30.4 minutes per game. He has been with the Bucks since 2018.
