The Charlotte Hornets initially ruled veteran Gordon Hayward out prior to Friday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a left shoulder “contusion.”
Robyn Hayward, Gordon Hayward’s wife, disputed that claim on her Instagram, saying that the injury is a lot worse than what the team is publicly saying.
He “actually has a fractured scapula,” she said, before adding, “I’m tired of them [the Hornets] not protecting players.”
