Jason Kidd says Mavs aren’t ‘shooting the ball straight’ right now

Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd wasn’t satisfied with his club’s poor three-point shooting during their 105-100 road loss vs. the Toronto Raptors on Saturday (11-39 from deep), saying that it’s been a common occurrence all season.

(via Bally Sports Southwest):

“Of the 39, 25 of them were probably uncontested or lightly contested. And that’s been the whole year. It’s about making threes in today’s game. We’re able to get to the paint. We’re able to get to the rim and finish. But right now, we’re just not shooting the ball straight. We got a lot of good looks. Reggie [Bullock] makes the free throws and the ball finds him on the next play for a wide-open three. You just thought that seal was gonna break on that play. But unfortunately, it didn’t.”
