Houston Rockets wing Jae’Sean Tate is slated to play his season debut against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday (h/t The Athletic’s Kelly Iko). Barring any setback, he is expected to be ready and help the club for the first time this season.
Tate has been out for the Rockets’ four initial contests so far this new season, as he nursed his right ankle injury.
The third-year pro, who inked a contract extension with Houston in the offseason, has averaged 11.8 points, 5.4 boards, 2.8 assists and 0.9 steals last season.
