Murray and Jokic propel Nuggets to victory over shorthanded Jazz

Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic combined for a dominant performance as the Denver Nuggets (55-24) cruised past the shorthanded Utah Jazz (29-50) with a convincing 111-95 win on Tuesday night.

Murray, who recently returned from a knee injury, scored 28 points, while Jokic contributed a double-double of 28 points and 13 rebounds, leading the Nuggets to their fourth win in five games.

The Nuggets pulled away from the Jazz in the fourth quarter, maintaining their momentum in the race for the top seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

Utah, missing key players, struggled to contain Denver’s dynamic duo, as Talen Horton-Tucker’s 24 points weren’t enough to spark a comeback, extending the Jazz’s losing streak to 13 games.

Omer Yurtseven contributed 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Luka Samanic added 15 points and 10 rebounds.
