According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, people “very close to the situation” believe the Brooklyn Nets star guard Kyrie Irving is trying to join the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers star forward and former Kyrie Irving teammate on the Cleveland Cavaliers LeBron James is said to be “very open” to the possibility.
This past season, Irving averaged 27.4 points, 5.8 assists, and 4.4 rebounds in 29 starts but missed a significant number of home games due to his unvaccinated status.
