When the Dallas Mavericks made the bold move to acquire Kyrie Irving last season, doubts loomed over how he would mesh with Luka Doncic.

Despite skepticism, this season has shown a different narrative as the two stars have found their rhythm together, propelling the Mavericks to fifth place in the Western Conference and a spot in the playoffs.

Doncic asserted his belief in the partnership’s success, emphasizing his confidence in Irving’s basketball prowess from the outset.

“I knew since the beginning… it’s Kyrie Irving. Everybody knows how he can play basketball,” Doncic said, via ClutchPoints.

As leaders of the team, Irving and Doncic have showcased their skills, with Irving averaging 25.6 points, 5 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game, while Doncic boasts impressive stats of 33.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 9.8 assists per game.
