Green suggests starting Westbrook to guard Irving

The Golden State Warriors veteran Draymond Green recently shared his perspective on the playoff series between the Los Angeles Clippers and their opponents, suggesting that a strategic move involving Russell Westbrook could benefit the team.

Green proposed that Clippers coach Ty Lue should consider inserting Westbrook into the starting lineup to match up against Kyrie Irving defensively.

In Green’s view, such a lineup adjustment could potentially enhance the Clippers’ chances of securing victory in the series.

“At some point in this series, Ty Lue is going to have to scrap Russ off the bench and move Russ into that starting lineup in order to win this series. That’s my take,” Green said.
