Frank Vogel on Russell Westbrook: “We want him to always be aggressive but never to force”

Russell Westbrook led the Lakers in scoring with 24 points as his team fell against the Jazz (109-122). The other two members of the Big 3 Anthony Davis and LeBron James were out.

After the game Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was asked about Westbrook’s aggressiveness when James and Davis are out. “I don’t think it should change that much [if James and Davis are available] honestly,” Vogel said.

“I think we want him to always be aggressive but never to force, you know what I mean? That applies if Bron and Ad are out there or if he’s got the group that we had tonight.

“We want him to be as aggressive as we can but to be efficient with his turnover ration and with his shooting percentage. That shouldn’t change that much.”
