There have been multiple reports that Lakers head coach Frank Vogel is on the hot seat. However, the team’s management decided to keep him at least until the end of the season.
Vogel’s contract is set to expire in summer and it is likely that Los Angeles will part ways with him. According to Harrison Wind of DNVR, Nuggets head coach Michael Malone would have been a candidate for the Lakers had he not signed a contract extension with Denver.
Malone has been with the Nuggets since 2015 and is set to stay with the team for the coming years.
