Greece names 24-man preliminary squad for 2023 Basketball World Cup Qualifiers

Greece officially announced on Wednesday the 24 players that have joined the preliminary roster for the 2023 Basketball World Cup Qualifiers.

Dimitrios Agravanis (Promitheas), Nikos Gkikas (Promitheas), Costis Gontikas (Ionikos), Vassilis Kavvadas (Panathinaikos), Dimitris Kaklamanakis (Lavrio), Nick Calathes (Barcelona), Panagiotis Kalaitzakis (Lietkabelis), Georgios Kamperidis (PAOK), Leonidas Kaselakis (Panathinaikos), Dimitrios Katsivelis (Peristeri), Ioannis Kouzeloglou (AEK), Giannoulis Larentzakis (Olympiacos), Michalis Lountzis (Olympiacos), Vassilis Mouratos (Lavrio), Lefteris Bochoridis (Panathinaikos), Dimitris Moraitis (Peristeri), Georgios Papagiannis (Panathinaikos), Kostas Papanikolaou (Olympiacos), Georgios Printezis (Olympiacos), Nikos Rogkavopoulos (Promitheas), Kostas Sloukas (Olympiacos), Georgios Tsalmpouris (Apollon Patras), Dimitris Flionis (AEK), Nikos Chougkaz (Panathinaikos).

Greece will face Turkey on February 25 and 28, respectively. Both teams have identical records (1-1). Spain, Serbia and Italy also named their respective rosters for the second window of the 2023 Basketball World Cup Qualifiers (February 24-28).
