Spain, Italy, Serbia name preliminary rosters for 2023 Basketball World Cup Qualifiers

Spain, Italy and Serbia officially revealed their respective rosters for the upcoming 2023 Basketball World Cup Qualifiers. The second window of the Qualifiers will take place over the last days of February (24-28).

The Serbians (1-1) will battle Slovakia twice in Belgrade (February 25) and Levice (February 28), respectively. Here are the 24 players that will join the preliminary squad:

Dragan Apic – Zielona Gora, Aleksa Avramovic – Partizan, Dusan Beslac – Vojvodina, Nemanja Dangubic – Partizan, Dejan Davidovac –Crvena Zvezda, Radovan Djokovic – Borac, Nikola Durisic – Mega, Ognjen Dobric – Crvena Zvezda, Dalibor Ilic – Igokea, Marko Jagodic-Kuridza – Buducnost Voli, Nikola Jovic – Mega Mozart, Balsa Koprivica – Partizan NIS, Vasilije Micic – Anadolu Efes, Nemanja Nedovic –Panathinaikos, Jovan Novak – Fuenlabrada, Filip Petrusev – Anadolu Efes, Alexa Radanov – Igokea, Dusan Ristic – Fuenlabrada, Borisa Simanic – Mega Mozart, Alen Smailagic – Partizan, Dejan Todorovic – Tenerife, Aleksa Uskokovic – Mega, Uros Trifunovic – Partizan, Rade Zagorac – Partizan

For their part, the Italians will play Iceland on February 24 and 27, respectively. A total of 16 players will join the roster for the upcoming Qualifiers.

Spain will attempt to maintain their perfect record in the 2023 Basketball World Cup Qualifiers. They will face Ukraine on February 24 and 27, respectively.

Alberto Díaz (Unicaja), Dani Pérez (Baxi Manresa), Ferran Bassas (Joventut Badalona), Joan Sastre (Lenovo Tenerife), Francis Alonso (Unicaja), Josep Puerto (Valencia Basket), Xabi López-Aróstegui (Valencia Basket), Joel Parra (Joventut Badalona), Oriol Paulí (Morabanc Andorra), Jonathan Barreiro (Unicaja), Dani Díez (Hereda San Pablo Burgos), Miquel Salvó (Herbalife Gran Canaria), Jaime Pradilla (Valencia Basket), Yankuba Sima (Baxi Manresa), Rubén Guerrero (Unicaja) and Fran Guerra (Lenovo Tenerife) clinched their spot in the preliminary roster.
