Despite their road loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday (102-106), the Golden State Warriors remained on top of the NBA.

The Warriors dropped to 11-2 and saw their seven-game winning streak come to an end. However, they still are the best team in the league and on top of the West.

In a hard-fought battle in Charlotte with 14 ties and 25 lead changes, the Warriors missed the chance to tie the game and force an overtime (102-104).

Instead, Terry Rozier (20 points, all of them in them in the second half) sealed the deal for the Hornets from the free-throw line. Charlotte improved to 8-7, winning its third straight. Meanwhile, the two teams split their season series (1-1).
