Hawks’ De’Andre Hunter to miss eight weeks after wrist injury

The Atlanta Hawks will be affected, especially in their hopes to rise up in the standings from the absence of their defensive stud.

De’Andre Hunter is reportedly out for eight weeks due to a wrist injury he sustained against the Golden State Warriors on November 8. He will undergo a much-needed surgery to repair the damage tomorrow in Los Angeles.

Hunter is averaging 10.8 markers, 2.7 boards and 45 percent shooting. Mainly assigned on guarding the opponent’s top wings, he is acknowledged for his defensive intangibles.

The Hawks will ride on another rising forward Cam Reddish to fill the spot that Hunter vacated.

Atlanta will face the visiting Orlando Magic on Monday in State Farm arena.
