Avery Bradley returned to the Los Angeles Lakers after splitting the 2020-2021 NBA season between the Miami Heat and Houston Rockets. The 30-year-old point guard was picked up by the Lakers after getting waived by the Warriors a few days ago.

According to Lakers head coach Frank Vogel, Bradley brings a much needed perimeter defense, something that the team lacks even when all of the players are healthy.

“We’re short on perimeter defenders, even when we’re whole,” Vogel said. “Guys that that’s their specialty. He definitely brings something that we need. Obviously he’s a two-way player, he knocked down a couple threes the other night. I’m really excited we picked him up.”
