The Utah Jazz are planning to re-sign guard Mike Conley and are prepared to make an estimated offer in the three-year, $75 million range, according to NBA reporter Marc Stein.

Conley, 33, who averaged 16.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game in 51 games last season, is said to be the Jazz’s top priority in free agency.

Teams can begin negotiating with free agents on Aug. 2 at 6 p.m. ET and then teams can officially begin signing free agents at 12:01 p.m. ET.

The Jazz freed up some more cap room by trading veteran big man Derrick Favors to the Oklahoma City Thunder earlier today.

Once the Jazz eventually officially re-sign Conley, that will take one point guard and one of the top free agents off the board.

There will still be several free agent point guards that are expected to draw interest from several teams including Kyle Lowry, Lonzo Ball and Spencer Dinwiddie.
