The Los Angeles Lakers appear to have an advantage in free agency as they are drawing interest from ‘a ton of’ veteran players that are willing to take a pay cut in order to team up with LeBron James and chase a championship.
“There’s a lot of speculation right now that seems founded that the Lakers have a ton of veteran-type players ready and interested to come sign on minimum deals and go chase this ring with LeBron,” Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report said on Lakers Central Podcast.
Among the most often mentioned names are two former teammates and free agents DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry.
