Canada’s Nickeil Alexander-Walker: “I can’t be any more thankful to represent my country”

Canada guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker is hoping to build on his improved sophomore season in the NBA during this summer’s FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament. The 22-year-old averaged 11.0 PPG/3.1 RPG/2.2 APG/1.0 SPG for the New Orleans Pelicans in 2020-2021. Alexander-Walker recently said that seeing himself and his Canadian teammates now grow up into fulfilling their National Team dreams is quite a proud feeling.

“I’m really happy to see all of us from when we were younger and had these dreams of being here, and now being here. So that’s pretty cool. Just this whole opportunity, I can’t be any more thankful to represent my country.”
