Los Angeles Clippers assistant Chauncey Billups and San Antonio Spurs assistant Becky Hammon are among candidates who’ll get second interviews for the Portland Trail Blazers head coaching job this week, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Last week, Billups and Hammon were among multiple coaches to interview for the team’s coaching vacancy in the first round of interviews.

With Hammon being a finalist for a head coaching job, this marks the first time that a woman has gone into the final stages of an NBA coaching search, according to Shams Charania.

Hammon also reportedly interviewed for the Orlando Magic head coach opening.

The 44-year-old coach has been on Gregg Popovich’s staff for seven years and became the first woman to act as head coach of an NBA team after Popovich was ejected from a game on Dec. 30.

Hammon will become the first woman head coach in NBA history, it’s just a matter of when at this point.
