In the middle of the season, Andre Drummond joined the Los Angeles Lakers to become the team’s starting center. He averaged 11.9 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1 block in 25 minutes per game. His numbers dropped to 9 points, 11 rebounds and 0.6 blocks per game over six playoff games.

The 27-year-old center is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. When asked about a potential return to the Lakers next season, Drummond did not give a clear answer.

Lakers GM Rob Pelinka shared his thoughts on how the center did during his spell with the reigning NBA champions, saying it was ‘really good.’

Via Matt Peralta of Lakers Nation:

“I think Andre’s time here was really good, we had a great exit interview today and just talked about the fact that of course he had a couple months where he didn’t play until we got here and there was a process of onboarding and getting in shape and getting acclimated to the guys. But we’re proud of some of the big games and big moments he had along the way both in the regular season and in the playoffs and really appreciate his choosing the Lakers and the contributions he made with us.”
