LeBron James: “I play the game the right way no matter the circumstances”

The Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James had even more responsibility on his shoulders as his team was without Anthony Davis in Game 5 against the Phoenix Suns.

The 36-yer-old point-forward scored 24 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 32 minutes of play as the defending NBA champions lost by 30 points.

After the game, LeBron was asked about picking between scoring and passing in the loss against the Suns. “I play the game the right way no matter the circumstances,” he said. “Getting guys open looks when draw two or three. If I’m in a one-on-one coverage and I feel like I got a lane or I got an angle, I’d be able to take it as well.

“But I don’t predetermine anything that I’m going to do. I’ve never played the game that way. It’s all about reading reacting and living with the results. Obviously the results tonight wasn’t to the liking of what I would like it to be. I’ll learn from that and move on to, like I said, to Thursday.”
