Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has been named to Slovenia’s 24-man preliminary roster for their FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament next month in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Doncic is one of several players included in the preliminary roster from the team that won EuroBasket 2017.

Jaka Blazic, Ziga Dimec, Klemen Prepelic, Aleksej Nikolic, Denver Nuggets’ Vlatko Cancar, Matic Rebec, Gasper Vidmar and Edo Muric were also on the team in 2017.

Slovenia will play in Group B and take on Angola on July 30 and then Poland on July 1.

Group A consists of Lithuania, Korea and Venezuela.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Semi-Finals and the winner of the tournament on July 4 will advance to the Tokyo Olympic Games.
