The Turkish national team has named a 29-man preliminary roster for their FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament next month in Victoria, Canada.
Cleveland Cavaliers’ Cedi Osman, Philadelphia 76ers’ Furkan Korkmaz, Utah Jazz’s Ersan Ilyasova and Miami Heat’s Omer Yurtseven were included in the preliminary roster, along with naturalized player and EuroLeague star Shane Larkin.
Rising star Alperen Sengun, who recently declared for the 2021 NBA Draft, was also included in the roster.

Turkey will play in Group B against Uruguay on June 29 and Czech Republic on June 30.
Group A consists of Canada, Greece and China.
The top two teams from each group will then advance to the Semi-Finals and the winner of the tournament will advance to the Tokyo Olympic Games.
