James Harden recorded his seventh triple-double wearing a Brooklyn Nets uniform in a 124-113 overtime win over the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night. The feat comes as no surprise to teammate Kyrie Irving, who’s let everyone know there’s a lot more where that came from.

Per ESPN, seven triple-doubles is the most posted by a Nets player in a single season since Jason Kidd registered 12 in the 2007/08 campaign. It’s quite likely the former Houston Rockets superstar surpasses that by the end of this one, having scored 30 points along with 15 assists and 14 rebounds vs. San Antonio on Monday.

“We have to implement the phrase ‘get used to it,'” Irving said after the win, via the aforementioned outlet.

“When James is being James, it makes our job a lot easier. And so we got to get used to somebody special like that, things like that in terms of breaking records. So, I can’t wait to be right alongside of him, my name in Nets history — and all the guys on our team where we’re just breaking records as a team, and then individually we’re stacking up with some of the best to ever play.”
