Charlotte Hornets guard Terry Rozier was full of praise for rookie teammate LaMelo Ball after the 19-year-old became the youngest player to ever record a stat line of 30 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and four steals.

Ball appears to be on course to cement his Rookie of the Year status and made quite a mark vs. the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night, although his production did not lead his team to a win. He did win Carmelo Anthony’s respect, however, with the veteran star also lauding his talent after the game. Anthony scored 29 on the night.

As for Rozier, the former Boston Celtics point guard reckons LeMelo is a star in the making.

“He’s special,” he said, per Yahoo Sports. “He’s special. We’ve got a star in the making. I would just tell people just to enjoy it because you ain’t gonna really going to see too many people like him. He’s a special talent, special person, great person. He deserves everything that’s coming his way.
