Nikola Jokic opened up about the poor start of the Denver Nuggets to the 2020/21 NBA season.

Following their loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Christmas Day (121-108), Jokic and the Nuggets remained winless after the first two games (0-2).

Jokic said the team needs to work on their offensive and defensive flaws and turn things around quickly, starting from the game against the Houston Rockets on Monday.

“We need to stick together and figure it out. We need to reduce those bad minutes. I think it is hard to have a perfect game,” Jokic told reporters, via Eurohoops.net.

Jokic had 24 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in the game. He has been averaging 26.5 points, 12 boards and 12 assists this season.
