Paul George reacted to the facial injury Kawhi Leonard suffered on Christmas Day game against the Denver Nuggets.
George said he was ‘really worried’ and ‘was thinking of the worst’ about Leonard’s injury.
“Really worried. I was thinking of the worst. I didn’t know if he was concussed or how hard of a hit or what actually happened because I didn’t see it.
I just saw him laying on the ground. That was first and foremost, just making sure he was okay,” George told reporters, via Tomer Azarly of Clutchpoints.
Leonard was forced to exit the game with a facial injury, after colliding with Clippers teammate Serge Ibaka midway through the fourth quarter. He had to get eight stitches, due to mouth laceration.
