Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert will remain in the same team for a long time, after both signed contract extensions with the Utah Jazz the past offseason.

Despite the shaky relationship the duo had earlier this year, Mitchell said their relationship is much better on and off of the court right now for the Jazz.

Gobert finalized a five-year contract extension with the franchise worth $205M. Besides Gobert, Mitchell also received a long-term extension in the offseason, netting him $195 million over five years.

As a result, Utah tied its two superstars on long-term deals with the hope of being able to have playoff success with them on the team.

The Jazz never get past the second round of the playoff with Mitchell and Gobert in the team. In their last postseason appearance, Utah lost a 3-1 lead to the Denver Nuggets in the playoff first round.
