Steve Nash said Kevin Durant is close to 100 percent ahead of the 2020/21 season start, per Kristian Winfield of The New York Daily News.

In the last preseason game against Boston, the two-time NBA champion and Finals MVP finished with 25 points on 9-of-16 shooting while adding six rebounds, two assists, and three blocks in 27 minutes.

Durant suffered a ruptured Achilles in Game 5 of the 2019 NBA Finals, back when he was playing for the Golden State Warriors.

He sat out the 2019/20 season to fully recover and now he is ready to play his first official NBA game in one and a half year.

In his first NBA game in 552 days, he finished with 15 points and helped Brooklyn defeat the Washington Wizards, 119-114.

The Nets are set to play their first regular season game against the Warriors on December 22.
