Chauncey Billups is interested in pursuing an NBA coaching gig, per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. The former NBA superstar has attracted interest by teams, which are researching his candidacy.

Billups played 17 seasons in the league and was viewed by as a player-coach, especially during his last seasons in the NBA. He had also won an NBA title with the Detroit Pistons back in 2004 being the Finals MVP.

Billups was among the prime candidates for the GM position in Cleveland back in 2017. With the Brooklyn Nets announcing the hire of Steve Nash, four teams are in search of a head coach until now.

In particular, the Philadelphia 76ers, the New Orleans Pelicans, the Indiana Pacers and the Chicago Bulls still have head coaching vacancies with several jobs possibly being on the line, especially after the end of the 2020 NBA playoffs.
