2nd Group Stage - Day 2

[quote name='ZEUS' timestamp='1315576083' post='33691']

Fernandez however made up for his blocked two-hand dunk attempt by giving the most magical behind the back assist for P. Gasol to finish off with a thundering two-hand dunk! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Cool' />

That was amazing pass.

Pau's block on a Serbian forward's in the paint shot and running first super fast on the break for a quick fast dunk?!?!?!!?!?! f*ck!!!

Sada's behind the back assist to Claver (for a two hand dunk finish) to the back door of Serbia's defence?!?!?!! Double f*ck!!!!!!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Crazy' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

This just goes to show that if you don't play iron defence on the Spaniards, they'll tear you apart. When will Pau Gasol at last retire from the NT? <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Crazy' />

Well, Spaniards got their "revenge".

Will Serbians get their revenge tomorrow against Turkey?!

Basically they have to win this in order to qualify.

If they lose... that's what I call upset! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Ohmy' />

If Turkey lose to Germany today, the tomorrow's game will be a do or die situation for both Serbia and Turkey. The winner goes on and the loser go home. <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bag.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Bag' />

Raise your hand if you knew Spain would win with +10 margin! *raises hand* I'll state it again The Spain vs Turkey game was NOT a true test of Spain's power. Spain was resting. Rest to them was more important than position. Spain was sandbagging. Spain has no weakness that anyone in this tourney can exploit. France, Turkey have the best chances BUT those teams may not have the chemistry and overall maturity to beat Spain at the next stage. This was the most predictable game of the day....

Spain has the most athletic team in this tourney. They also have the highest number of skill players in this tourney. Turkey has the bodies to compete with them. France does as well. Lietuva, Russia maybe BUT no one else can beat them in match ups. Spain can tie or win positional match ups almost every game! Tony Parker being the only exception and I believe they could answer him.

YES/NO doing The math I gave Spain an A++ Turkey A and France an A-. Spain > Turkey > France. The lost of Erden changes things. Still Ibaka puts Spain over the top IMHO...

I think Hedo Turkoglu has a nice smile BUT it is too early to smile. Dirk has 3 fouls It is time as one commentator said for Turkey to show "Killer instinct". Turkey needs to becomes serious....

Serbia was so desperate. And after first half they complete fall down.If they don't win against Turkey that will be the end.And probably the end for Ivkovic...

Players that should not play for NT are Perovic man who can squeeze ball <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Ohmy' /> and Tepic who never made 3-pointer <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Here is also Markovic but he play very well defense and that is only reason why he play.

Wow, I can't wait for Serbia VS Turkey "death" match!!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

As I predected(!!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' /> <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Biggrin' /> ) Germany is a tough team and won.

Kaman gives a huge help to Dirk and he knows that when he's on the beanch there is someone on the court than can replace him... in some way! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

And now the game of the night... I can't wait!!! <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
