NESTEROVIC IN PIREAUS???
The last hour the rumour is spread and it seems to be true. Olympiakos seems to have agreed terms with Rasho Nesterovic and the agreement will be announced soon.

Rasho is just better than Vujcic and Schortsianitis. In 15 mins he can do more that both of them. It's a good move if you try to understand it. Of course Oly still needs frontline players. Bourousis, Nielsen, Nesterovic, Mavrokefalidis are good, but can get better. Don't forget they hane still space for 4 foreigners. Rasho has greek passport.Oly only have Teodosic n Nielsen. Wait for the next moves...

Olympiacos is getting desperate. Rasho is washed up. Just another typical retarded signing by them.
BTW, it turns out that Nike gave Spanoulis a huge sum of money to move to Olympiacos.

Come on man! Why desperate? Is Nesterovic a bad player for 15 mins ? R U crazy? A back-up center from the NBA with greek passport? I could agree with u if Rasho is comin to play 25-30 mins. But it's not the case... They will sign another center. Andersen-class. But come on, no team in Europe has such a back up, with that kind of expierience and quality. Very smart move, for 1.300.000 $ net.
PS About V-Span... Well, that's it exactly...

Rasho is washed up. Remember when they signed Vujcic who was also washed up? If you sign a washed up Galis he is not a good player, but just washed up. Signing washed up players does not help your team.

I remember Pini saying ''you need 2 tanks of gas to go around him and gas is expensive''
he used to be much more aggressive when it came to defense..now either you get a foul out of him or an easy basket
on offense..that's a different thing..if he wants to score he will score..you're not even there for him

Nesterovich (sp) is a very sound pick. Solid smart defender and rebounder. Knows how to play the game. Offense is not the issue and he will play very well to his strengths. Thinking man's pick.

Yeah, jibes like that from Pini was why Sofo and he used to get into fights. Something tells me Pini is definitely to blame for this. Not a very professional approach either...

I don't know if you'd be surprised or not..but Pini wasn't fired because Maccabi lost the championship..he was fired because of his attitude, talking to the tv crew while the game was still going, acting like a child...
the Maccabi management asked him to sign an ethics clause for next season(to make sure this things won't happen again)and he threw a fit(Ironic I know)and 24 hours later he was fired.

Anyway, his manager is going to Israel, and apparently a good financial offer has been made for Sofo. Maccabi wants him now, before his price goes up after he plays in the WC, where they believe he will have very good games. I most certainly hope so.
