Union Olimpija signed Croatian center Jure LaliÄ (212cm, 1986) untill end of the 2009/2010 season. LaliÄ spent last two seasons playing in Belgium for Charleroi but he left the club in second part of this season because he was unhappy with limited minutes on court. The Croatian center is well known to the Slovenian basketball audience as he played many years with Zadar in the Adriatic League.

He will play for free. At least that's a conclusion from Jure Zdovc's (coach) words, something like - he's full aware of current financial situation. He won't be available to play in NLB only in domestic championship.
