Quote:It is rumored that Prkacin will end his pro career right after the Eurobasket. The croatian center hasn't anounced it yet and is rumored to do so after the tournament in Poland.

He recently won the croatian championship with his own buzzer beating layup and the croatian cup before that.

Quote:One of the most significant faces from Mali Kalemegdan, Crvena Zvezda's captain Tadija Dragićević, plans to leave the team this summer although he still has a one-year contract with the team …

Dragićević decided that it is time to change the club after eight years spend in Crvena Zvezda, where he grew into one of the most reknowned Serbian basketball faces. He is currently practicing in Bajina BaÅ¡ta. »I am not thinking about other clubs yet. It is to early. But I do believe that me and the club will find a mutual solution so that I will be able to continue my career abroad,« said Dragićević.
Juby Johsnon and Todor Gečevski will leave Zadar, Sagadin will coach Zadar for at least one more year

Olimpija will sign DuÅ¡an PG DuÅ¡an Đorđević ex Bosna and maybe F Edin Bavčić ex Köln.

Quote:In an interview given to 'Sport' newspaper in Serbia, Milan Gurovic expressed his desire to retire playing for Red Star, but it all depends on their coach Svetislav Pesic.

Gurovic also praised the club's management for 'rising the club from the dead' as he said, before continuing:

"I love Red Star, I feel like I didn't finish what I started at this club because I haven't won any titles with them. But as I said it all depends by coach Pesic, he knows my number.

Money is not a problem for me, I am ready to come and help the young players of the club by playing my 10-15 minutes per game because I don't want to spend 40 minutes on the court anymore."

When asked about Galatasaray Gurovic stated:

"I am done with Galatasaray. My contract has expired. Although I had a solid season I had to sya out of the play-offs due to an injury."

Gurovic also talk abou his future in Red Star:

"Slobodan Vucicevic, Zoran Drakulic and the General Manager Milan Opacic to over the club last summer and put it on the path of success. Of course I would like to participate in this project both as a player and from another role after my retirement."
Union Olimpija is intersted in GaÅ¡per Vidmar (loan from Fenerbahce), UroÅ¡ Slokar (Fortitudo) and two former players: Teemu Rannikko (Dinamo) and Manučar MarkoiÅ¡vili (Kiev). But all depend on budget, for now they don't have enough money even for signed players...
There is no way Olimpija can afford Slokar. Even in this current situation he can get a nice contract in Russia easily.
Hey, what's up with Pesic? Is he staying or leaving?
@ Black Urum

We will se in 48 hours from now. If he dont sign until July 1st, I dont think he will sign at all.

But the supporters are optimistic and management of BC Crvena Zvezda aswell. They made optimistic plan for the future season with the names like Stefan Markovic (Hemofarm), Ognjen Askrabic(?), Golubovic (ex Olimpia), Predrag Samardziski (FMP), Nemanja Aleksandrov also.. Since this is rumors topic <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> But the main thing about that plan is Pesic to stay or else this wish-list is doubtfull..

Rumors for Partizan : Dejan Milojevic, Dusan Kecman, Milos Vujanic, Vladimir Dasic, Stefan Sinovec

Hemofarm : Manucar Markoisvili, Rolle Marshall (ex-Cibona), Todor Gecevski (Zadar) (this is very questionable). The main question is will they keep Stefan Markovic (strongly linked with Crvena Zvezda) and Boban Marjanovic (talks about Partizan interest).
any info on sinovec?
Stefan Sinovec is born in 1988, 198cm, shooting guard. He can play successfully on PG position also.

He was in Partizan in juniors, left to KK Vizura 2 years ago. Last 6 months he was in Khimik Ucraine.

He is born shooting guard but still has a lot to learn. I watched him couple of times while he was in Vizura and I liked his style of play. He spends to many balls though, but Dule Vujosevic will deal with that, I'm sure <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> If he signs for Partizan..

He signed today. I have big expectations about him. As I said, born-shooting guard and I like that kind of players.

As far as KK Crvena Zvezda, Svetislav Pesic still hasnt signed new contract. They had talks tonight and set a new date on Wednesday for yet another round.

Also, Stefan Markovic will not sign for them since KK Hemofarm offered him new 3 year contract. There is still possibility for that deal but now CZ will have to pay a lot of money to Hemofarm and I really cant see why would they sell their best player to a direct rival in NLB and domestic league.

Second info is that Predrag Samardziski (FMP 216cm center) is close to sign for Crvena Zvezda.

It is all about Pesic. If he stays, they would probably be able to make a good team for next season. But the odds are against for now...
Jasmin Hukić left Union Olimpija with mutual agreement. Next destination is Benetton Treviso. Next in line to left the club iz Mirza Begić.

GaÅ¡per Vidmar is close to be loaned from Fenerbahče to Olimpija.
any destination for begic?
No, nothing here. He has quite huge contract (around 400k€ I think) and it will be hard to find a team willing to take him.
Olimpija's management is funny. The guy had a small contract until this summer, they made him a new contract so he woldn't leave as free this summer hoping to cash in on his good performances in Euroleague and now they can't find a team to give him for free because his contract is too big.

I know. They are funnier than Monthy Python and they are really funny <img src='http://www.talkbasket.net/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />
Ožbolt and Rudež will probably stay in Olimpija
