It's utter bullshit for two reasons. First and more important Obradovic would rather kill himself than work with a player like Chatman...

Secondly PAO already got the maximum 3 non-Europeans they can sign. Nicholas, Batiste, Sato. PAO is not Olympiacos to change their roster every month...

If it is true that Caja Laboral signed Batistas for 850K euros then PAO definitely needs to sign a big guy... cause in next phase they could face Barcelona who got Lorbek, Perovic, NDong and Vazquez just in the C position...
Where have read that Batista has signed with Caja Laboral? If this is true would this mean that they maybe want to go after Mirza Begic?

It's official now. Batista to Caja Laboral until 2014. PAO is not interested in Begic. He got 2 offers, one from Real Madrid and one from Maccabi TA.
Are there any names of players that PAO is wanting?

Who would you want as a new player of PAO?
I know that you said that PAO isn't interessed in Begic, but I have read somewhere that Panathinaikos is waiting for M.Begic and his agents.

Maybe if this is true, would it be a good deal for PAO? What do you think about Begic as a player?
Black Urum us there any more news about PAO and potential players?
No names, so far. It's hard to find a player good enough for PAO at this time... and Begic is not one of them.
Oke thanks Black Urum. But I read the following:

" Looks like Slovenian Mirza Begic will have a lot of trouble. He ran from his former team Zalgiris Kaunas and they do not except to let him go without a ransom. Madrid Real (they wanted Begic last summer) do not want to pay any ransom.

Panathinaikos Athens also have trouble with Center position, Mike Batiste just got back from injury and Aleks Maric will be sidelined for 1 and a half month. However Mirza Begic is not that calibre player to pay ransom for. They are very interested in Ramunas Siskauskas but his contract with CSKA is huge. Coach Zeljko Obradovic publicly said that Panathinaikos could sign a player in next few days.

They were also interested in Mire Chatman, but the new Cola Besiktas Turka coach Ataman said that he needs this player. We remind you that Mire Chatman was suspended by his team owners when he did not show up in few trainings. After suspension few Euroleague teams were interested in him. "

The rumor about Chatman will be false and Begic will not go to PAO. But the rumor about Ramunas be true? Is he still good enough? Does Obradovic still want him? Can you tell me more about the situation he left PAO
Where did you read this? We don't mind if you post links and sources here, in fact we encourage it, even if it's not from TB...

PAO is too big of a club to be begging for Siska, or every Siska, to return. Especially with the way he left there is no turning back to Athens for him, not for PAO anyway...

Begic, as I said many times before, is not good enough for PAO.

As for Chatman, hell will freeze over before Obradovic sign a player like that... the entire PAO basketball organisaiton of the past 20 years is based on team-work and Greek and European players...
I just read it on a website and in a paper.

Thanks for answering. But can you tell me more about how Siska left?

I never said that Begic was good enough for PAO. In the article is mentioned that Mirza Begic is not that calibre player to pay ransom for.

His name was brought up with PAO according to this article. But I believe you and I didn't wanted to make you angry.

I also mentioned that the rumor about Chatman was false. I just put on what stood in the article, so I could show you where I was getting the rumor about Chatman.

Siska had a contract with pao and a buyout clause of 1mil euro. He negotiated and agreed with CSKA without ever talking to pao and all of a sudden his agent payed the buyout via cska and the next day he signed for cska without any prior notice. not exactly professional...

Chatman is leaving besiktas due to disciplinary reasons. that is a no-no for obradovic.

As for Begic...laughing my ass off...
Thanks for the answer Suricata. I knew that Siksa left PAO in a bad way but I didn't knew the story about the buy-out.

You and Black Urum are right, this wasn't very professional of Siska. He's a good player but I didn't knew that he threated PAO like this after all they did for him.

I hope that PAO will find a good center or other player to strenghten their roster for the rest of the season. I hope and I think that more news wll come in a couple of day or otherwise in the weeks to come

Benjamin Eze
He could help PAO a lot on defense and he could do his work on offense.

But I keep hearing that he's very close ti sign with Milan
Panathinaikos is interessed in Keith Langford. Unicaja and Reald Madrid also have interest in the player of Khimki.

Keith Langford has received a contract extension from Khimki but he refused it. Panathinaikos and Real Madrid have offered him a two-year contract that would begin at the beginning of next season

he would be a great get for Panathinaikos. Langford is a very good player and Panathinaikos would get another deadly shooter.
Does anyone of you guys know if PAO will get an reinforcement or will they keep their current team?

It's too late and Panathinaikos doesn't have money for more transfers anyway, so no.
