Today’s gossip column sees the European stars abroad, mainly the NBA moving places and sealing deals. Including a Barcelona forward who has decided to give the best league in the world one more try.

DORSEY MOVING TO HOUSTON

Joey Dorsey has signed a two-year deal with the Houston Rockets in a deal worth $2million, his agent confirmed.

Dorsey, who played in the first NBA regular season game outside of North America in 2011 with Toronto has played for Olympiacos and Gaziantep before winning a Liga Endesa title with the Catalan side.

CALATHES TO STAY AT MEMPHIS

Despite a lucrative offer from Panathinaikos, it looks like Memphis Grizzlies will keep hold of Nick Calathes for an extra year.

The extension of his contract for Calathes is $800,000 for the season. [edit] Calathes wanted to go to the Greek side, but Memphis had the last say on his plans.

RUBIO QUIETLY SEEKING 5-YEAR MAX DEAL

With Kevin Love the centre of attention in Minnesota, it is forgotten that Ricky Rubio is still trying to sort out his long term future, whilst preparing of the FIBA World Cup of Basketball with the hosts, Spain.
