ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski has released an apology for saying “f–k you” in an email to U.S. senator Josh Hawley of Missouri.
It all started when Hawley, a republican senator, sent a letter to NBA commissioner Adam Silver, criticizing the NBA for “kowtowing to Beijing and refusing to support U.S. military and law enforcement”.
Hawley cc’ed the press too and that’s when Wojnarowski responded:
About an hour after this news came to light, Wojnarowski tweeted out his apology:
ESPN also put out a statement saying in part that they were “addressing it directly with Adrian and specifics of those conversations will remain internal”.
