Mavs’ Kristaps Porzingis says he wants to make the playoffs every year

Despite the unprecedented circumstances, the Dallas Mavericks superstar Kristaps Porzingis is moving towards his first NBA postseason.

After one season in the sidelines, Porzingis has returned from a torn ACL, getting steadily to the level of performance we saw from him when he was playing for the Knicks.

The Latvian big man was starting to get in a roll in March, just before the season shut down due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

As he admitted to reporters on Friday, he is really excited to lead, alongside Luka Doncic, the Mavericks to the playoffs.

“It’s hard for me to predict how it’s going to be,” Porzingis said, per NBA.com. “It’s going to be my first experience. No matter what the circumstances are, I’m going to try to get the most out of it and get the most experience and play the highest level basketball I’ve ever played. So I’m looking forward to it.

But my goal is to have a postseason every year from here on. This is going to be the first one and I look forward to the next ones when we have fans back.”
