Milwaukee Bucks are expected to have tough competition to retain Giannis Antetokounmpo in their roster, when the “Greek Freak” is going to hit the free agent market in 2021.

The Bucks’ superstar will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2021, when his current $100 million dollar deal, which he signed in 2017, is coming to an end.

According to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps:

“Toronto’s interest in pursuing Giannis Antetokounmpo in 2021 is no secret. Another deep playoff run would add to the sales pitch,” Bontemps noted referring to what’s at stake for the Toronto franchise for this season’s playoff, which are going to take place in Orlando.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the reigning MVP and a force of nature in the current NBA landscape with him being just 25 years old. So it’s only natural for every NBA team with championship aspiration to be interested in one of the top players of the league.
