Paul Pierce recently announced his All-Time Top 5 players leaving LeBron James out. It stirred lots of controversy and discussions. Former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins gave some context by sharing an interesting story about how Pierce spat at the Cleveland Cavaliers bench which started a beef with LeBron James.
“I’m glad social media wasn’t out then because I spit at they bench. I probably would’ve got fined,” The Truth confirmed Perkins’ story on ESPN’s NBA Countdown. “It was a preseason game. It didn’t mean anything. Me and LeBron were going back and forth, the bench is yelling something. I look over to the bench and I’m like ‘That’s why you’re all on the bench’ or something and I spit at them. I’m not sure if I hit somebody or not but I spit on that direction.”
