Luka Doncic and Dwight Powell, along with the Mavericks’ foundation, will donate $500,000 to UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital to support childcare for healthcare workers.
As a result, this funds will bring financial relief to workers, who are on the “frontline” of the COVID-19 response effort.
“Thank you to our amazing healthcare workers,” Doncic said in a news release. “They are sacrificing so much to care for others, and I am honored to help.”
