Richard Jefferson claimed his 25-year-old self would ‘destroy’ Gordon Hayward 1-on-1.
Jefferson and Hayward spoke on Instagram Live, with the forward of the Boston Celtics saying Jefferson wouldn’t be able to defeat him one-on-one.
Jefferson, an NBA champion with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016, was averaging 19.5 points per game for the New Jersey Nets at the age of 25.
For his part, Hayward was averaging 19.7 points for the Utah Jazz when he was 25.
