Even though the NBA season is suspended for 30 days due to the coronavirus crisis, the anticipation among NBA executives is that the season could be resumed in mid-June in best case scenario.
ESPN’s Senior NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski reports that even if the season is resumed, the games could be played without fans and possibly in training facilities.
The league office has given teams no guidance yet on a timeline for a resumption of play, but organizations themselves are preparing for the possibility of a long hiatus based upon the facts surrounding the coronavirus outbreak.
