The NBA is nearing a deal with Amazon Prime Video to become a primary broadcast partner for the next decade, alongside ESPN. The arrangement may see ESPN reducing its games from around 100 to about 80.

Amazon Prime Video’s package could include significant regular season and postseason games, possibly even some conference finals. The deal is expected to start in 2025-2026 and last at least ten years.

The NBA aims to involve at least three companies in its new broadcast deals, leaving TNT to potentially compete with NBC for the final package.
