Joakim Noah’s deal with the Los Angeles Clippers will start as a 10-day contract, according to Shams Charania.

If the team determines that Noah is a good fit, they will give him a contract for the rest of the season.

Noah is expected to join the team next week.

He was reportedly hopeful he would play again this season.

Noah posted an Instagram video in late January showing him training and confirming that he had been recovering from an Achilles injury.

The 35-year-old last played in the 2018-2019 season with the Memphis Grizzlies where he averaged 7.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in 16.5 minutes per game.
