James Harden after losing to the LA Clippers: “In the offense, we didn’t have any rhythm”

The Houston Rockets had one of their worst offensive nights of the season on Thursday, as they lost to the Los Angeles Clippers 105-120. James Harden posted 16 points (on 4-17 shooting), 7 rebounds, and 7 assists in 27 minutes… Eric Gordon scored 5 points (on 1-6 shooting from deep). On the other hand, Kawhi Leonard led his team with 25 points (on 8-15 shooting).

After the Rockets’ loss, Harden said that his team had no rhythm in the offense, and things need to start defensively if they want to get where they want to go.

That contradicts what he said day before: “We switch so much that they’ve got to target somebody,” Harden told ESPN’s Tim MacMahon. “I play so many minutes that they feel like they can just exploit me. I mean, it hasn’t worked … Come try it, and the s–t won’t work.”
