Stephane Lasme moves to Athens

Panathinaikos and Stephane Lasme have agreed on everything and the Gabonese player will be wearing the Greek jersey next season.

Lasme was a personal choice of the club’s new coach Argyris Perdoulakis who bids on the player’s defensive skills.

The player has Euroleague experience with both Partizan and Maccabi Tel Aviv while he spent the last season paying for Obradoiro in ACB, averaging over 10.9ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.9bpg.

Lasme’s arrival in Athens means that Panathinaikos has dropped James gist case. On other news, Sarunas Jasikevicius will most likely leave Panathinaikos too, with Maccabi being his destination, according to Israeli media.

Panathinaikos will look to replace the Lithuanian veteran with a Chinese international guard, whose name hasn’t leaked yet.
