It is official now. Announced from basket.ugmk.com, UMMC Ekaterinburg signed Diana Taurasi.
The U.S. superstar player spent last season with Galatasaray, and helped them to fifth place in Euroleague Women Final Eight and Turkish League finals.
Taurasi played with 19 points and 5 assists on averages domestically and 20 points 3.3 assists averages in Euroleague.
The transaction meant Taurasi would be reunited with her ex-team Spartak Moscow Vidnoje mate Sue Bird, who will stay at Ekaterinburg next season.
